MELLON TECHNOLOGY EXPANDS WITH ELLICOTTVILLE OFFICE AND NEW NAME
Oct. 11, 2007 — Mellon Technology is re-inventing itself.
With a new office in Ellicottville, ten new team members and a new brand identity, the Olean-based technology services and integrated marketing company is looking to the future.
Mellon Technology will now operate under the parent name Mellon & Co., owned and operated by Jeff Mellon.
“As we expand, we need a name that captures the diverse range of services that we provide,” explained Mellon. “Mellon Tech and Mellon IMC are now divisions of Mellon & Co.”
Mellon Tech is the technology services arm of Mellon & Co., providing computer repair and support. Mellon IMC is the integrated marketing communications arm, providing print and web development, and other marketing and design services.
To support his company’s expansion, Mellon has opened an office in Ellicottville in suite 5 of the 1887 Building located at 1 Washington St.
The grand opening of the new office will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18. The public is welcome to join the Mellon team for live music and food, as well as a chance to win a prize package of a free night stay at the Black Dog Lodge and a gift certificate to the Birdwalk Restaurant in Ellicottville.
Mellon also has plans to further develop the Olean office.
“Our Olean customers have been extremely loyal, and we are so thankful for that. Olean is still my hometown, and we will continue to provide top-notch services in the area,” said Mellon.
To introduce Mellon & Co.’s new brand identity and revamped website, a web launch party will be held Thursday, Nov. 8 from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Ellicottville office.
“You can get a little taste of our new look from the new website, www.mellonco.com, but to really see what it’s all about, people will have to come to our launch party,” said Kate Wolcott, director of creative services at Mellon & Co. “The entire campaign will exemplify what integrated marketing communications is all about. It’s a great chance for area businesses to see what we can do for them.”
Mellon & Co. has also added ten new members to its team, including: David Baltusavich, project manager; Corey Bennett, director of specialized design; Greg Dean, programmer; Michelle Bouch, graphic artist; Eric Parr, bookkeeper; Andy Reed, art director; Brady Hummel, technician; Toby Lindberg, director of tech services; and Emily Maggio and Dan Bauman, marketing assistants.
