MELLON & CO. INVITES PUBLIC TO WEB LAUNCH PARTY

Nov. 1, 2007—Mellon & Co. invites the public to celebrate the launch of its new Web site from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at its Ellicottville office, located at 1 Washington St., Suite 5 of the 1887 Building.
Mellon & Co.’s new Web site will go live the day of the launch party, but you can check out a preview at www.mellonco.com.

The Web Launch Party will feature a live broadcast from WPIG 95.7, prize giveaways and dessert and coffee. Mellon & Co. is also holding an Explore Ellicottville Challenge with a chance to win up to $500 off a Web site project. Entry forms are available from both Mellon & Co. offices, as well as by visiting www.mellonco.com. Mellon’s Olean office is located at 1606 W. State St.

The theme of the party is Designed to the Nines, representing the philosophy and work of Mellon & Co. Even the Mellon team will be Designed to the Nines themselves, dressed in black tie attire.

MELLON TECHNOLOGY EXPANDS WITH ELLICOTTVILLE OFFICE AND NEW NAME

Oct. 11, 2007 — Mellon Technology is re-inventing itself.
With a new office in Ellicottville, ten new team members and a new brand identity, the Olean-based technology services and integrated marketing company is looking to the future.
Mellon Technology will now operate under the parent name Mellon & Co., owned and operated by Jeff Mellon.

“As we expand, we need a name that captures the diverse range of services that we provide,” explained Mellon. “Mellon Tech and Mellon IMC are now divisions of Mellon & Co.”

Mellon Tech is the technology services arm of Mellon & Co., providing computer repair and support. Mellon IMC is the integrated marketing communications arm, providing print and web development, and other marketing and design services.
To support his company’s expansion, Mellon has opened an office in Ellicottville in suite 5 of the 1887 Building located at 1 Washington St.

The grand opening of the new office will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18. The public is welcome to join the Mellon team for live music and food, as well as a chance to win a prize package of a free night stay at the Black Dog Lodge and a gift certificate to the Birdwalk Restaurant in Ellicottville.
Mellon also has plans to further develop the Olean office.

“Our Olean customers have been extremely loyal, and we are so thankful for that. Olean is still my hometown, and we will continue to provide top-notch services in the area,” said Mellon.

To introduce Mellon & Co.’s new brand identity and revamped website, a web launch party will be held Thursday, Nov. 8 from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Ellicottville office.
“You can get a little taste of our new look from the new website, www.mellonco.com, but to really see what it’s all about, people will have to come to our launch party,” said Kate Wolcott, director of creative services at Mellon & Co. “The entire campaign will exemplify what integrated marketing communications is all about. It’s a great chance for area businesses to see what we can do for them.”

Mellon & Co. has also added ten new members to its team, including: David Baltusavich, project manager; Corey Bennett, director of specialized design; Greg Dean, programmer; Michelle Bouch, graphic artist; Eric Parr, bookkeeper; Andy Reed, art director; Brady Hummel, technician; Toby Lindberg, director of tech services; and Emily Maggio and Dan Bauman, marketing assistants.

SALAMANCA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SELECTS MELLON FOR WEB SITE DEVELOPMENT

August 16, 2007 – The Salamanca Area Chamber of Commerce has chosen Team Mellon to redesign its online identity.

 

The redesigned web site, www.salamancachamber.com, features a new logo and increased focus on the culture and history of the city.

 

“It was a delight to work with the fastest growing city in our area,” said Jeff Mellon, owner and operations director at Team Mellon. “It really was a complete makeover. The goal was to create a dynamic site that is able to evolve with Salamanca. Our team really pulled together to come up with an attractive design that highlights the features of the rising city.”

MELLON ADDS NEW TEAM MEMBER, HOPES TO BUILD ON STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH ELLICOTTVILLE

June 6, 2007 — Mellon Technology of Olean has numerous clients in the Ellicottville area and is poised to build on these relationships with the addition of a new team member and renewed focus.

Heidi Ofinowicz, of Franklinville, has been promoted after serving as a marketing consultant for the creative marketing and technology agency for a year.

Ofinowicz will be working closely with Kate Wolcott, former director of marketing and now director of integrated marketing communications, who will be taking a more adamant role in utilizing the cutting-edge techniques of integrated marketing communications to provide synergistic solutions for clients.

“We are looking forward to the future, particularly our future in Ellicottville where we have several strong and loyal relationships. We have made some great friends in the area and are excited about continuing our work with them, as well as building new relationships.” said Jeff Mellon, owner and operations director at Mellon Technology. “The new marketing duo we have with Kate and Heidi puts us in a prime position to do so. The experience, education and knowledge they share will help take Mellon Technology to a new level.”

In her new role, Ofinowicz will be responsible for strategic planning tasks, new business development, project oversight and customer relationship management as she pursues her master’s degree in integrated marketing communications at St. Bonaventure University. She graduated summa cum laude from St. Bonaventure in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication. She also works as a graduate assistant in St. Bonaventure’s Office of Communications.

Wolcott went through the same graduate program as Ofinowicz, earning her master’s degree in integrated marketing communications in 2004, and has worked with Mellon Technology since 2005.
